Alright I promised to write this a while since The Tragedy Of Gamaliel was a silent comic, and left A LOT of plot and back story to the imagination of the reader. Although that is technically what I was aiming for, I would still like to clarify the central plot taking place so that it will fit in line with the upcoming Day of Gold Star two part story.

As we can see from how "The birth of Zaniah" ends Zaniah becomes a part of a military operation in order to assist in the war efforts. The council/group seen throughout the first few pages of Tragedy of Gamaliel are the leaders of the opposing force in the war: The United Revolutionaries of Individual Nations . This is more of their description rather than their purpose or formal name, This description  was stated by one of their most powerful leaders during their international declaration of war. However the soldiers of the Army that Zaniah fights for (The United Crusaders or U.N.C) commonly refer to them with this description as they have no true formal title, usually shortened to U.R.I.N as a form of insult to their ranks.

The leaders of the United Revolutionaries agree to launch a nuclear strike against the neutral city Deltric, after warning the U.N.C of the consequences of opposing them. The opening of the comic featuring Zaniah racing to Deltric actually takes place after the decision is made by the united Revolutionaries. As they launched their missile, Zaniah was dispatched to stop it, but as shown is far too late and is still a great distance away when the city is obliterated.

The moment when the button is pressed is when the missile detonates before touching down in Deltric, and as shown is detected by zaniah's sensors.

The titular character of this entry in the series appears as a teenage boy and the sole survivor of the event. His miraculous survival will come into play in upcoming stories.

After Zaniah rescues Gamaliel and brings him to the front of the hospital, the story ends with Gamaliel embracing Zaniah as a means of thanks, and Zaniah remembering the only other person who treated her like more than a robot, releases her bottled up emotions and cries.

Although not shown, as the comic ends with them hugging, Zaniah is not sent on any missions for a while and stays in her quarters awaiting a chance at redemption after what is now being called the Fall of Deltric.

Hope this clears up the story a bit more, I'll be writing another journal soon to explain my new project to run alongside the Zaniah series :D
